The Oxford Creative Center seeks to develop and present new and collaborative works in the visual, literary, and performing arts.

We appreciate that yoga is an integrative system that fosters health and well being as well as an excellent way to restore one's creative energy. Therefore, we are experimenting with different yoga offerings.

Presently, we offer Iyenger style yoga and Dharma yoga.

The Iyengar method focuses on precise instructions and alignment that requires awareness and mental discipline.  The practices' purpose is to help you be clear about what you are physically doing, as well as to help you learn how to be disciplined and pay attention.

Dharma Yoga is a graceful, yet challenging form of yoga based on Sri Dharma Mittra’s practice of classical yoga. The practice is appropriate for students of all levels, from beginner to lifelong practitioners and accessible to so many because it meets each student where they are and according to their condition. As students move through the different series, they are encouraged to go deeper and experience the practice in a meditative and spiritual way.
